- The professional concierge coordinates the scheduling of the first consultation with Dr. Abrão, which is carried out via telemedicine.
- During this consultation, the doctor explains in detail the treatment, the necessary tests, and the next steps for it.
- If necessary, the patient is directed to obtain a second opinion report on the MRI that she would have performed at the place of origin.
- A second consultation is scheduled, via telemedicine, to discuss the details of the chosen treatment.
- Through this second online consultation you will receive pre-operative approval and realize a pre-anesthetic consultation.
Trip Planning
- The concierge provides detailed travel guidance, including flight options, class preferences and schedules.
- Accommodation suggestions are offered in 3 types of plans (Fasano, Canopy Hilton, and Airbnb options), taking into consideration budget, preferences and location related to the surgery site.
- A shuttle service is arranged to ensure safe and comfortable travel throughout your stay.
Arrival and Reception
- The patient is met at the airport by a private, bilingual driver, who will accompany the patient throughout the journey.
- Upon arriving at the hotel, she will be welcome with a personalized kit prepared by the medical team, demonstrating care and attention from the beginning.
- On the scheduled day of the medical appointment, the patient is accompanied to the clinic for her face-to-face consultation with Dr. Abrão and his team.
Medical Assessment
- During a face-to-face consultation, the patient goes throughout a specific medical evaluation, including specific tests for endometriosis.
- Dr. Abrão and his team discuss the treatment and surgery plan, clarifying all the patient’s doubts and concerns.
Surgery and Recovery
- During the procedure and hospital stay, the patient receives care and is closely monitored by the medical team.
- After medical discharge, she is transferred to her hotel suite, where she receives specialized nursing care during her recovery (in-person assessment to control vital signs – screening monitor, oximeter, pneumatic compressor and takes the disposable kit for post-operative care, dressing kit etc.)
- Regular post-surgical follow-up appointments are scheduled to monitor the evolution of the condition and ensure complete recovery, in addition to remote monitoring (via the nurse and the patient via telemedicine via video and telephone)
Wellbeing and Tourism
- The team offers suggestions for leisure and tourism activities, within medical limitations and recommendations, for the patient to enjoy during their stay in Brazil.
- Restaurant recommendations are made considering the patient’s dietary preferences and post-operative medical advice.
- Wellness services such as massages and aesthetic treatments are offered to promote relaxation and well-being during recovery.
Going home
- After completing treatment and receiving medical authorization, the patient goes home, if possible, in Business Class for greater comfort, with remote monitoring by the medical team.
- Concierge service remains available to provide additional support and coordinate any needs that arise upon return to your home country.
